Sunday night reset for city skin

A weekly mask-plus-massage ritual to undo pollution and screen stress.

City air, long hours and blue-light glare can leave skin looking flat by Friday. A quiet Sunday reset re-hydrates, clears dull film and re-sets the barrier so Monday starts fresh. Here’s the 10-minute ritual our team swears by.

1. Steam-soften the week away

Fill the sink with hot water, lean over the steam for a slow minute. Steam lifts pollution particles and loosens oil plugs without scrubbing. Pat lightly, don’t rub—the skin is now primed to drink in actives.

2. Gentle double cleanse

Massage two pumps of Silk Body Wash onto damp face and neck—yes, it’s gentle enough for facial use tonight—then rinse. Follow with a pea of Pure Cleanser for a water-based sweep that removes any leftover sunscreen or city dust. Skin should feel supple, never squeaky.

3. Enzyme mask, five minutes tops

Smooth a thin layer of Renew Scrub—skip the massage beads, let the papaya enzymes do the work. Five calm breaths, rinse with cool water. Dead cells vanish, glow peeks through.

4. Circulation massage with oil

Warm three drops of Soothe Body Oil between palms. Glide from centre of face outward, gentle upward strokes along jaw, cheekbones, brow. Light pressure boosts micro-circulation, helps lymph drain and tension release.

5. Seal with barrier cream

Finish with a fingertip of Balance Moisturiser. Press, don’t rub, over cheeks, forehead and chin. Its ceramide-rich gel locks in the oil layer below, preventing moisture loss overnight.

Optional extra: tap Aura Eye Cream in a tiny crescent under each eye; chill the tube 10 minutes beforehand for puff-reducing coolness.

Lights out, screens off

Put the phone on airplane mode, brew herbal tea and give the moisturiser a full hour before sleep. Wake Monday to skin that looks like it spent the weekend out of town—even if you never left the apartment.
